Accounts Payable Manager

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Salary: $83,200 – $104,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Manager:

  • Supervise, mentor, train, and develop Accounts Payable staff while overseeing daily operations.
    • Manage invoice processing, three-way match procedures, vendor maintenance, 1099 reporting, and purchasing workflows.
    • Oversee month-end and year-end close activities, account reconciliations, and general ledger postings.
    • Evaluate, improve, and document Accounts Payable processes, controls, and workflow efficiencies.
    • Collaborate with auditors, department leaders, and vendors to support compliance and resolve issues.
    • Lead reporting enhancements, system improvements, and special projects.

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years of Accounts Payable leadership experience.
    • Experience working with ERP systems and integrated purchasing/accounts payable processes.
    • Experience with Workday and/or OnBase strongly preferred.
    • Preferred: Healthcare industry experience and experience implementing new processes or systems.
