What You’ll Do
As a key member of the accounting team, you’ll play an important role in supporting the company’s day-to-day financial operations by:
- Reviewing, verifying, and processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Entering and maintaining accounts payable data within the accounting system
- Preparing and processing payments, including checks, ACH transactions, and wire transfers
- Reconciling vendor statements and researching discrepancies to ensure timely resolution
- Monitoring outstanding balances and generating accounts payable aging reports
- Responding to vendor inquiries and partnering with internal departments to resolve payment-related issues
- Assisting with month-end close activities and reporting requirements
- Maintaining organized records and supporting audit requests as needed
- Providing general administrative and accounting support to the finance team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Accounts Payable experience in a professional office environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with accounting software
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize competing deadlines
- Professional communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Preferred Experience
- Prior ERP software experience
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-driven environments
