Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk

  • Manage customer invoicing and billing activities while ensuring accuracy and timely processing as the Accounts Receivable Clerk
  • Apply daily cash receipts, post payments, and maintain accurate customer account records as the Accounts Receivable Clerk
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances as the Accounts Receivable Clerk
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer account concerns as the Accounts Receivable Clerk
  • Support month-end close activities through reconciliations, reporting, account analysis, and financial documentation as the Accounts Receivable Clerk

Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Clerk

  • 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or related accounting experience
  • Hands-on experience with invoicing, cash applications, reconciliations, and aging report management
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting software or ERP systems
