Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist with experience in accounts receivable, collections, and ecommerce environments. This role will manage a diverse customer portfolio, including strategic accounts and small-to-mid-sized businesses. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable balancing relationship management with high-volume collections activity.

Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Salary: $50,000-$55,000

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end collections for a portfolio of strategic and small business accounts.
• Conduct high-volume collection outreach through phone calls and email.
• Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on account size, risk, and payment history.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
• Partner with sales, ecommerce, customer service, and operations teams to resolve billing issues and disputes.
• Analyze customer payment behavior and identify potential risks or trends.
• Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate application of payments.
• Negotiate payment arrangements while balancing customer relationships and collection objectives.
• Assist with month-end accounts receivable and close activities.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity in ERP and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of B2B collections or accounts receivable experience.
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Experience managing both strategic accounts and high-volume small business portfolios.
• Experience in ecommerce or other fast-paced, high-transaction environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of accounts while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
