Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in the Elk Grove Village area, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to support its day-to-day accounting operations. The Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist will work closely with both customers and vendors while helping ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices, payment batches, and vendor transactions
- Apply customer payments, maintain receivable records, and assist with collections
- Review new customer accounts and support credit-related documentation
- Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and accounting support
- Prepare reports, analyze expenses, and provide documentation for audits
- Help resolve payment discrepancies while maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall computer proficiency
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
