Accounts Payable Manager
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000
Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite)

About the Opportunity
A growing and well-established real estate organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead its high-volume, multi-entity AP function. This position will oversee daily payment operations, vendor relationships, team performance, and AP controls while partnering closely with Accounting, Treasury, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct the daily activities of a high-volume, multi-entity Accounts Payable department
- Lead, coach, and develop AP team members while distributing workloads and ensuring deadlines are achieved
- Oversee vendor setup, invoice processing, payment runs, ACH and wire transactions, checks, and vendor communications
- Review and approve invoices, payment batches, voids, reversals, manual payments, and other exceptions
- Partner with Treasury and Accounting to coordinate cash requirements and ensure accurate, timely payments
- Manage AP-related month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and vendor documentation requirements, including W-9 collection and 1099 reporting
- Review AP performance metrics and identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and greater efficiency
- Act as the escalation point for vendor concerns and complex accounts payable issues
- Provide support for audits, special projects, and other accounting initiatives while maintaining accurate financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- At least five years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
- Two or more years of experience leading or supervising an Accounts Payable team
- Demonstrated experience managing a high-volume, multi-entity AP operation
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle AP, vendor management, account reconciliations, and 1099 reporting
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
- Experience in real estate, property management, or corporate accounting is a plus
- Excellent leadership, organization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
