Key Responsibilities for the Benefits Administrator:
- Manage employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, disability, and wellness offerings.
- Evaluate benefits utilization, benchmark plans, and recommend program enhancements.
- Lead annual open enrollment, benefits orientation, and employee education initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and related regulations.
- Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate deductions, reporting, ACA filings, and leave system administration.
- Serve as the primary liaison with benefits carriers while maintaining accurate records and processes.
Qualifications for the Benefits Administrator:
- Minimum 2 years of Benefits Administration experience.
- Knowledge of health, retirement, life, and disability benefit programs.
- Strong understanding of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and related compliance requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
