About the Opportunity – Billing Specialist
The Billing Specialist will support an accounting and receivables team during a system transition to NetSuite. This temporary assignment (approximately six months) plays a key role in maintaining billing accuracy while assisting with data migration and process improvements in a collaborative, onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities – Billing Specialist
- Support billing operations during a system migration to NetSuite
- Assist with data migration, validation, and reconciliation
- Generate, review, and process customer invoices accurately and on time
- Research invoices and purchase orders related to service billing
- Make invoice adjustments prior to sending invoices to customers
- Collaborate closely with Accounts Receivable and accounting team members
- Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to internal inquiries
- Maintain organized billing documentation and follow established procedures
Qualifications – Billing Specialist
- 3+ years of experience in billing and/or accounts receivable
- Hands‑on NetSuite experience required
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a changing system environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Construction, service, or industrial billing experience preferred
- Comfortable working fully onsite in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting
