Key Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist
- Generate and process invoices for service work orders, maintenance agreements, and project-related activities as the Billing Specialist
- Review completed work orders to ensure labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and billable expenses are accurately captured as the Billing Specialist
- Partner with technicians, project managers, and service coordinators to verify billing details and resolve discrepancies as the Billing Specialist
- Monitor open work orders, billing queues, and aging reports to ensure timely invoicing and revenue recognition as the Billing Specialist
- Support customer billing inquiries, maintain customer account information, and assist with monthly reporting and audit preparation as the Billing Specialist
Qualifications for the Billing Specialist
- 2+ years of billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable experience, preferably within a service, construction, or project-based environment
- Experience with SamPro strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
