About the Role

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage daily accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support operational workflows. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate coding
  • Process AP and AR transactions, including invoices, payments, and customer receipts
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis
  • Prepare basic financial reports, summaries, and internal statements
  • Support month‑end tasks such as accruals, reconciliations, and schedule preparation
  • Assist with vendor communication, customer inquiries, and internal department support
  • Maintain organized financial records and support audit or documentation requests
  • Monitor cash flow activity and assist leadership with reporting needs

Qualifications

  • Bookkeeping or accounting support experience required
  • Strong understanding of AP, AR, and general ledger fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • Detail‑oriented with strong accuracy and follow‑through
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational skills
