Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience.

- This is a fully in-office position; candidates must be able to commute to the office daily.
Key Responsibilities of Buyer/ Purchaser:
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate suppliers, products, and pricing trends.
- Monitor market conditions and commodity pricing relevant to business operations.
- Support the Purchasing Manager with vendor negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.
- Process purchase orders for routine purchases including MRO, services, equipment rentals, and critical supplies.
- Resolve vendor discrepancies related to pricing, delivery, invoicing, or quality issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and contracts within the ERP system.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements as business needs evolve.
- Track supplier performance, including on-time delivery and quality metrics, and maintain supplier scorecards.
- Partner with operations teams to support inventory demands, consumption trends, and sales forecasts.
- Ensure vendor pricing and purchase order accuracy within the IFS ERP system.
- Coordinate with quality teams to ensure timely setup of new part numbers and item data.
- Assist operations and leadership in supplier selection through value and cost analysis.
- Manage back-order reporting processes and follow up with suppliers as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, AP, receiving, and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations and timely payment processing.
- Participate in internal meetings including S&OP calls, supply planning meetings, sourcing discussions, and company updates.
- Occasional travel within the U.S. and Canada may be required.
Qualifications & Skills of Buyer/ Purchaser:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Power BI experience is a plus, but not required.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently while following through on tasks.
Education & Experience for Buyer/ Purchaser:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience preferred.
- Must be able to commute to the office daily.
