Cash Applications Specialist
Location: On-site in Akron, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000

Key Responsibilities for the Cash Applications Specialist:
- Process and apply client payments accurately in the firm’s accounting system.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and account variances.
- Reconcile daily cash receipts, bank deposits, and related financial records.
- Coordinate with billing, collections, and attorneys regarding payment allocation and account inquiries.
- Maintain accurate documentation of cash application activities and reconciliations.
- Support month-end closing activities and reporting related to cash receipts.
Qualifications for the Cash Applications Specialist:
- 3+ years of cash applications, accounts receivable, or revenue accounting experience.
- Prior experience within a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Elite 3E (required).
- Strong reconciliation skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
