About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization’s accounting, finance, and business operations functions.

The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable overseeing day-to-day accounting operations while also serving as a strategic advisor to ownership and executive leadership. This individual will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, operational improvement, and long-term planning.

This opportunity is ideal for a finance leader who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, building strong teams, and driving growth through sound financial management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting and finance operations
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
  • Manage financial reporting and financial statement preparation
  • Direct budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and business performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee internal controls, risk management, and audit activities
  • Partner with leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives
  • Manage banking relationships, treasury functions, and cash management
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred
  • Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience overseeing accounting, FP&A, budgeting, and treasury functions
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
