Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Branford, CT (Onsite)
Salary: $225,000 – $250,000 + bonus + strong benefits

Key Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
- Lead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash management
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team on financial planning and decision-making
- Oversee revenue cycle management, including Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and payor strategy
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
- Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to the Board of Directors
- Oversee accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
- Drive process improvements, cost optimization, and financial system enhancements
- Lead audits, tax filings, and external financial relationships (banks, auditors, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA strongly preferred)
- 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within healthcare or nonprofit
- Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement models and regulatory environment
- Proven experience partnering with executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across the organization
- Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
