Salary Range: $250,000 – $320,000 + Bonus + Long-Term Incentive Potential

Key Responsibilities of the CFO

  • Lead all accounting, finance, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning functions.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team on business planning, growth initiatives, and operational decision-making.
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies that support company growth, profitability, and long-term objectives.
  • Provide leadership for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial performance analysis.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing accounting and finance teams.
  • Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, automation initiatives, and organizational efficiencies.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, risk management practices, and corporate governance standards.
  • Lead relationships with external auditors, banking partners, insurance regulators, and other key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate strategic opportunities including acquisitions, investments, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Present financial results and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, ownership, and board-level stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications of the CFO:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
  • Prior experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or Divisional Finance Leader.
  • Insurance industry experience required
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Experience with strategic planning, financial leadership, and organizational growth initiatives.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner across all levels of the organization.
