Chief Accounting Officer Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop the accounting team, driving accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
• Oversee all financial reporting, including investor reporting and external stakeholder requirements
• Manage HUD / residential real estate accounting, compliance, and regulatory reporting
• Partner closely with the CFO on cash flow management, financial strategy, and scaling the finance function
Chief Accounting Officer Qualifications:
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience within real estate, with residential / HUD exposure highly preferred
• Proven executive leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
• Strong background in financial reporting for investors and external stakeholders
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or Master’s preferred
