We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Collections Coordinator to support receivable account management, payoff processing, and settlement workflows across legal and medical portfolios. This is a fully remote opportunity where your organization, communication, and accuracy will directly contribute to operational success.

What You’ll Do as a Collections Coordinator

Account & Payoff Management (40–50%)

  • Manage assigned receivable accounts and payoff requests from start to finish
  • Track documentation, account statuses, and required follow-ups
  • Review balances, payoff figures, and supporting documents for accuracy

Client & Team Communication (25–35%)

  • Handle inbound calls from attorneys and partner firms with professionalism
  • Provide clear updates on account status and next steps
  • Maintain consistent communication via email and internal platforms

Accounting & Operations Support (15–25%)

  • Perform basic accounting tasks tied to receivables and payoff processing
  • Assist with reconciliations and financial accuracy checks

What Sets You Up for Success as Collections Coordinator

  • Experience in AR/AP, collections, payoffs, or financial operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Box, and Outlook
  • Beginner to intermediate Excel skills (basic formulas; pre-built sheets provided)

Nice to Have for a Collections Coordinator:

  • Mortgage, legal, medical, or personal injury collections experience
  • Broader exposure to financial operations workflows
