OVERVIEW OF THE COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST ROLE:
Our client is seeking a Collections Specialist to support an interim workload and assist with day-to-day collections activity. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling high-volume outreach while maintaining professional communication with customers.
COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review aging accounts and perform collections outreach following established procedures
- The Collections Specialist will manage outreach for approximately 250 accounts per week
- Respond to customer inquiries and verify account and payment information
- The Collections Specialist will assist with documentation verification by coordinating with internal and external parties
- Support customer service initiatives and payment posting as needed
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST ROLE:
- Experience in B2B collections and/or accounts receivable required
- Strong communication skills with a professional phone and email presence
- Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
