Title: Controller
Salary: $120,000–$140,000
Location: Abington, MA (onsite)

Controller Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee WIP reporting, job costing, revenue recognition, and project profitability
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis
• Partner with Project Managers on budgets, billings, change orders, retainage, forecasts, and cost-to-complete analysis
• Oversee AP, AR, and weekly union/certified payroll
• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage, union benefits, dues, and fringe requirements
• Manage annual audits, banking relationships, bonding requirements, and insurance audits
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve reporting
• Manage and mentor accounting staff
Controller Qualifications:
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Construction, contracting, or related project-based industry experience
• Strong knowledge of job costing, WIP, and project accounting
• Experience with union and/or certified payroll
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience with Spectrum, Vista, Sage 300, or similar accounting systems preferred
• Strong Excel, communication, and leadership skills
• Comfortable working onsite in Abington, MA
