Construction Controller
Location: Columbus, IN
Compensation: $110,000 – $140,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting and finance functions, including month-end close and financial reporting.
- Oversee job costing, WIP schedules, project budgeting, and profitability analysis.
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Supervise AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Coordinate audits and work with external CPAs and banking partners.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of accounting/finance leadership experience within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, and WIP reporting.
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
