With over $27M in annual revenue and 270+ employees, this organization is entering an exciting next chapter and is seeking a seasoned Controller to help lead and modernize its accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely month‑end close and financial reporting
• Lead and develop a team of four, including the former Controller transitioning into a Bookkeeper role
• Optimize ERP utilization (Sage Intacct) to improve workflows, controls, and reporting efficiency
• Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and strong internal controls
• Partner closely with leadership to support financial strategy and organizational growth
• Report directly to the CFO and serve as a key financial advisor

Best Fit Profile

• 5+ years of Controller‑level experience with full departmental oversight
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
• Seasoned professional preferred
• Sage Intacct experience is a plus
• Comfortable operating in a nonprofit, mission‑driven environment
