Controller Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Manage AP, AR, payroll, billing, and day-to-day accounting operations.
- Supervise and mentor 2-3 accounting team members.
- Oversee project accounting, contract administration, client billings, and revenue tracking.
- Identify and implement process improvements to support continued company growth.
Controller Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7-10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience
- Architecture, Engineering, or Professional Services industry experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management expertise
- Deltek experience a plus
- Positive, collaborative, and personable leadership style
