Controller
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Salary: $140,000 – $175,000 (depending on experience)
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected Indianapolis employer seeking a Controller. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong leadership skills who is ready to oversee financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage teams and complex operations
