Key Responsibilities for the Controller:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close activities.
- Manage project accounting functions such as AIA billing, job costing, and work-in-progress reporting.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and deliver meaningful reporting to executive leadership.
- Strengthen internal controls, streamline processes, and implement operational efficiencies.
- Serve as the Controller leading, developing, and mentoring a high-performing accounting team.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to support budgeting, project analysis, and business decision-making.
Qualifications for the Controller:
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with proven leadership responsibility.
- Strong background overseeing core accounting operations including AP, AR, and financial reporting.
- Experience with project accounting, including AIA billing, job costing, and WIP reporting.
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and multi-entity accounting environments.
- Ability to partner effectively with executives and operations leaders to drive business results.
