A growing organization is seeking a hands-on Project Controller to join its finance team immediately. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys balancing transactional responsibilities with process improvement opportunities and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile and balance multiple bank accounts while researching and resolving discrepancies
- Verify deposits and communicate with banking partners regarding account activity and questions
- Support Accounts Payable activities, assisting with overflow processing and vendor-related inquiries
- Assist with Accounts Receivable functions, including preparing and organizing customer statements
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in a largely paper-based environment
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve accounting processes
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with intercompany accounting and account reconciliations
- Exposure to consolidated financial reporting
- Self-starter who proactively identifies work that needs to be completed
- Comfortable asking questions and challenging processes to drive improvement
Compensation
- $83,200+ based on experience
