Key Responsibilities for the Controller:
• Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Manage government funding, grants, contract billing, and compliance reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for leadership and the Board
• Oversee annual audits, Form 990 preparation, and internal controls
• Manage payroll, AP/AR, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close processes

Qualifications for the Controller:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of accounting and financial management experience
• 5+ years of nonprofit financial leadership experience
• Experience managing government contracts, grants, and nonprofit funding
• CPA preferred
• Experience with DHS, CYF, behavioral health, or human services funding strongly preferred
• Experience with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar accounting systems
• 7+ years of accounting and financial management experience
• 5+ years of nonprofit financial leadership experience
• Experience managing government contracts, grants, and nonprofit funding
• CPA preferred
