Controller
Location: Port Washington
Compensation: $140,000 – $160,000 + bonus
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting function in a growing manufacturing environment. This role will partner closely with leadership, drive financial accuracy, and support operational decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll, close)
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements and internal reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls
- Support leadership with financial insights and analysis
- Manage and develop accounting team
- Lead/support financial consolidations
Profile
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Experience with consolidations preferred
- Currently at Controller level or ready to step up
- Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting
- Proven leadership and ability to operate both strategically and tactically
Compensation
- $140K – $160K base + bonus opportunity
