Location: Seabrook, NH
Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days on site 1 day remote
Salary: $160,000 – $180,000
CFS is partnering with a well-established and growing organization seeking a Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys being hands-on while partnering closely with executive leadership to drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
As the Controller, you will:
- Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Manage cash flow planning and financial analysis
- Prepare and present financial statements and key performance metrics
- Partner with leadership on strategic planning and operational decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
- Coordinate external audits and support tax-related activities
Qualifications
The ideal Controller will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred
- Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls, and compliance
- Experience managing accounting teams in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
- Excellent communication and business partnering skills
