Controller
Location: Columbus, IN
Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 base salary, depending on experience
Position Summary
A growing organization in Columbus, IN is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations. This role will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and team leadership while partnering with executive management to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day accounting and finance functions
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
- Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- Mentor and develop accounting staff
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
- Experience leading accounting teams and improving processes
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
