Cost Accountant
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 + Bonus + Equity

Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accountant:
- Maintain and analyze standard costing, inventory valuation, and product costing processes
- Prepare inventory reconciliations, cost analyses, and journal entries
- Support month-end close activities related to inventory, manufacturing costs, and cost of goods sold
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead variances and provide actionable recommendations
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve cost visibility and operational performance
- Assist with standard cost updates, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Support inventory cycle counts, physical inventories, and audit requirements
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements
- Prepare financial reports and ad hoc analysis for leadership
Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3-5 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost of goods sold
- Experience supporting month-end close, inventory reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
