Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accountant:
- Cost Accountant track and analyze costs across labor, materials, subcontractors, and operations
- Maintain and evaluate inventory activity, variances, and transfer pricing across locations
- Prepare cost reports and support leadership with actionable financial insights
- Assist with month-end and year-end close, including accruals and reconciliations
- Partner with operations to review production data and improve cost accuracy
- Support standard cost development, updates, and variance analysis
Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience with exposure to cost accounting
