Responsibilities of the Cost Accounting Manager:

• Own plant‑level cost accounting processes supporting two manufacturing operations
• Manage month‑end cost close activities, ensuring accuracy, discipline, and consistency
• Prepare inventory‑related calculations, including FIFO costing, reserves, capitalized variances, and budget comparisons
• Set standards and expectations around reconciliations, accruals, and fixed asset accounting tied to manufacturing
• Serve as the finance partner to plant leadership and engineering on production costing and BOM accuracy
• Determine inventory control efforts, including cycle counts and valuation integrity
• Review, interpret, and communicate manufacturing cost results and trends to broader finance leadership

Qualifications of the Cost Accounting Manager:

• 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CMA credentials are valued but not required

Salary: $105,000 to $125,000
