Salary Range: $50,000 – $58,000
About the Opportunity:
Join a dynamic Customer Service team at a leading financial services organization! As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll support daily operations and deliver exceptional service to internal and external clients. Your role focuses on resolving past due accounts to collect payments.
Key Responsibilities – Customer Service Representative:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally to collect payments
- Resolve or escalate issues related to billing, insurance, titles, payoffs, ACH updates, tax questions, and account changes
- Handle escalated complaints with accuracy and urgency
- Build strong relationships with customers and vendors
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Track inquiries and provide feedback to management for service improvements
- Support related departments (asset management, collections, titles) as needed
- Meet service level goals and maintain compliance with company policies
- Strive to meet Key Performance Metrics: Inbound and Outbound call handling and quality/timely standards; Productivity benchmarks and compliance
- Use best judgment to resolve issues within guidelines; escalate complex cases when necessary
Qualifications – Customer Service Representative:
- 1–3 years of collections experience, ideally in a financial institution
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret lease/legal documents and understand insurance, titling, and UCC filing requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
- Critical thinking and sound judgment for decision making
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational skills and adaptability
