Key Responsibilities for the Director of Finance and Business Operations:
- Provide leadership and oversight of fund accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Manage multiple grants, contracts, and funding streams while ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated finance team.
- Oversee business operations, strengthen internal controls, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, organizational initiatives, and key business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with government, foundation, and other funding agency requirements
Qualifications for the Director of Finance and Business Operations:
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance hands-on execution and organizational leadership.
- Strong background in nonprofit fund accounting and financial management.
- Experience overseeing complex grants, restricted funding, and multi-program organizations.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing accounting or finance teams.
- Accounting degree required; CPA, MPA, or other advanced credentials are highly valued.
