Director of Human Resources
Location: Miramar FL. (Occasional East coast travel)
Travel: Up to 25% (primarily domestic travel to regional locations)
Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 base salary + up to 10-15% annual bonus opportunity + comprehensive benefits
About the Opportunity
Our client is a privately held, global organization experiencing continued growth and transformation. With approximately 1,000 employees worldwide and significant operational scale, they are seeking a Director of HR to serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership while leading the evolution of their human resources function.
This is a highly visible leadership role for an HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic influence with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to North American executive leadership, partnering closely with senior leaders across the business
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational growth
- Lead, coach, and develop an HR team of approximately 4–5 direct reports
- Support leaders across multiple locations, including operational and workforce-based environments
- Drive improvements in HR processes, systems, policies, and employee experiences
- Provide leadership on employee relations, compliance, FMLA, ADA, and other HR regulatory matters
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent strategy, organizational development, and change initiatives
- Support recruiting efforts when needed, partnering with internal and external recruiting resources
- Leverage technology, HRIS platforms, automation, and emerging AI tools to improve HR effectiveness
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization through an approachable, collaborative leadership style

Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a senior HR leadership capacity
- Experience partnering directly with executive leadership teams, including CEOs, CFOs, and senior business leaders
- Proven HR leadership experience supporting operational, industrial, production, warehouse, distribution, or other workforce-based environments
- Experience managing and developing HR teams
- Strong knowledge of employment compliance, including FMLA, ADA, employee relations, and HR best practices
