Key Responsibilities for the Events Accountant:
- Reconcile event settlements, box office activity, and promoter statements
- Track and record event-related revenues and expenses
- Prepare journal entries and support month-end close for event activity
- Partner with operations and programming teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain documentation and support audits related to event finances
Qualifications for the Events Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably event-, entertainment-, or hospitality-related
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems
- Experience reconciling high-volume transactions
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed throughout the year, with flexible scheduling to accommodate adjusted daytime hours.
