Key Responsibilities for the Field Auditor:
- Conduct field audits and financial examinations for a diverse portfolio of clients, both onsite and remotely.
- Analyze financial records, payroll data, and operational reports to identify discrepancies and compliance risks.
- Prepare detailed audit workpapers, supporting schedules, and reports with actionable recommendations.
- Build strong client relationships while effectively communicating audit findings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to complete engagements accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines.
Qualifications for the Field Auditor:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, compliance, or a related field.
- Experience in public accounting, insurance auditing, workers’ compensation premium auditing, or field auditing is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client-facing skills, with the flexibility to travel locally as needed.
