Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 + bonus + strong benefits

About the Opportunity
CFS is partnering with a growing professional services firm seeking a detail-oriented Field Auditor to join their team. This Field Auditor role offers a blend of in-office and on-site client work, providing variety and exposure across industries. The ideal Field Auditor will bring strong analytical skills and a foundation in audit practices.
Key Responsibilities of the Field Auditor
- Perform on-site and remote audit procedures for client engagements
- Analyze financial records and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Assist in planning and executing audits from start to finish
- Prepare audit workpapers, reports, and documentation
- Identify risk areas and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve discrepancies
- Support senior leadership in delivering high-quality audit services
Qualifications for the Field Auditor
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior audit experience preferred (public accounting or field audit exposure a plus)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to travel locally for client engagements as a Field Auditor
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
