Key Responsibilities for the Finance Manager:
• Oversee financial reporting, monthly close, and variance analysis
• Manage AP/AR, billing operations, payroll review, and cash flow
• Lead budgeting process and support financial planning initiatives
• Maintain accounting systems, controls, and reconciliations (including partner equity)
• Partner with leadership on financial insights, analysis, and decision-making
• Ensure accuracy of client payments, financial data, and reporting processes
• Manage AP/AR, billing operations, payroll review, and cash flow
• Lead budgeting process and support financial planning initiatives
• Maintain accounting systems, controls, and reconciliations (including partner equity)
• Partner with leadership on financial insights, analysis, and decision-making
• Ensure accuracy of client payments, financial data, and reporting processes
Qualifications for the Finance Manager:
• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 2+ years in a law firm
• Prior experience supervising billing or finance teams
• Strong working knowledge of Aderant Expert Sierra (billing, GL, AP)
• Solid understanding of GAAP, cash/accrual accounting, and IOLTA compliance
