Overview

A private equity–backed organization is hiring a Financial Analyst to join a lean, hands-on finance team. This role is ideal for a public accounting professional looking to transition into corporate finance and gain direct exposure to senior leadership, strategic initiatives, and business operations.
The Financial Analyst will move beyond compliance-focused work and into forward-looking analysis, partnering closely with leadership to support decision-making in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain financial models supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Analyze financial and operational performance and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Support pricing decisions, bid analysis, and RFP-related financial modeling
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and periodic forecast updates
  • Develop dashboards and management reporting to improve financial visibility
  • Present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Support ad hoc analysis and projects tied to growth initiatives and operational improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in public accounting, FP&A, or corporate finance
  • Public accounting background strongly preferred (Audit, Advisory, or Transaction Services)
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and Excel skills
  • Experience working with budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
  • Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and explain financial drivers
  • Exposure to high-growth or private equity–backed companies is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems and tools such as Power BI is a plus
