Financial Controller (Construction Industry)
Target Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities for the Financial Controller:
• Oversee financial reporting, month-end close, cash flow management, and multi-entity accounting operations.
• Manage AIA billing, accounts receivable, collections, job costing, WIP reporting, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Lead payroll, HR administration, compliance, insurance programs, and risk management activities.
• Partner with project managers and operations leaders to improve project profitability, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Direct accounts payable, vendor management, contract administration, and intercompany accounting across multiple entities.
• Manage AIA billing, accounts receivable, collections, job costing, WIP reporting, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Lead payroll, HR administration, compliance, insurance programs, and risk management activities.
• Partner with project managers and operations leaders to improve project profitability, forecasting, and financial performance.

Qualifications for the Financial Controller:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with construction or service-contracting organizations.
• Strong hands-on experience with AIA billing, job costing, WIP reporting, revenue recognition, and multi-entity accounting.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel skills, including financial reporting and data analysis functions.
