Key Responsibilities for the Manager of Financial Reporting:

  • Lead preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Coordinate external audit activities and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors
  • Prepare technical accounting memorandums and support complex accounting transactions
  • Review financial reporting packages to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, and executive leadership on reporting requirements and strategic initiatives
  • Research and implement new accounting standards and reporting requirements
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including a Senior Accountant
  • Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls across reporting functions

Qualifications for the Manager of Financial Reporting:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Active CPA required
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Public accounting experience required; Big 4 or large regional audit experience strongly preferred
  • Financial statement preparation experience in public accounting or corporate reporting environments
