HR Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Schedule: Fully in office with flexible hours
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000
Bonus: To be established

A growing construction-related organization is seeking an HR Manager to support a rapidly evolving team environment. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with leadership and supporting both office and field employees across HR, payroll, recruiting, compliance, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support recruiting and hiring efforts for both office and field positions
  • Process and oversee weekly payroll
  • Serve as liaison with the company’s third-party safety provider
  • Assist with compliance initiatives and HR administration
  • Support employees and leadership through organizational growth and change

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of HR, office administration, or related experience
  • Experience within construction, trades, or a similar blue-collar environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to adapt in a changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HR/payroll systems such as Workday, Spectrum, or Trimble
  • Experience supporting both office and field employees
