Key Responsibilities – Interim Controller
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to leadership
- Support audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications – Interim Controller
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Significant accounting and financial management experience, including Controller-level responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience managing month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Advanced proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to leadership
- CPA designation preferred but not required
- Ability to quickly adapt, assess financial operations, and make an immediate impact in an interim capacity
