IT Help Desk Intern (Summer)
Overview:
A large, multi‑office professional services firm in Connecticut is launching a paid summer internship for college students interested in IT support and infrastructure. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role focused on learning IT fundamentals through real‑world support work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide Level 1 help desk support
- Triage and resolve support tickets
- Answer and route incoming IT calls
- Assist with walk‑up technical issues
- Support video conferencing and meeting setups
- Help document processes and build knowledge resources
- Learn core IT protocols and troubleshooting techniques
What We’re Looking For:
- College junior or senior (or recent graduate)
- Hands‑on IT experience through campus or departmental roles
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Comfortable working on‑site in a professional office setting
Location:
- Waterbury, CT (on‑site only)
- Local candidates strongly preferred
Schedule & Duration:
- Summer internship (~3 months)
- 20–30 hours per week
- 4‑day work week preferred
Compensation:
