IT Help Desk Intern (Summer)

Overview:
A large, multi‑office professional services firm in Connecticut is launching a paid summer internship for college students interested in IT support and infrastructure. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role focused on learning IT fundamentals through real‑world support work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide Level 1 help desk support
  • Triage and resolve support tickets
  • Answer and route incoming IT calls
  • Assist with walk‑up technical issues
  • Support video conferencing and meeting setups
  • Help document processes and build knowledge resources
  • Learn core IT protocols and troubleshooting techniques

What We’re Looking For:

  • College junior or senior (or recent graduate)
  • Hands‑on IT experience through campus or departmental roles
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn and take feedback
  • Comfortable working on‑site in a professional office setting

Location:

  • Waterbury, CT (on‑site only)
  • Local candidates strongly preferred

Schedule & Duration:

  • Summer internship (~3 months)
  • 20–30 hours per week
  • 4‑day work week preferred

Compensation:

  • $18-$22/hr. (hourly – depending on experience)
