Leasing Administrator

Position Summary

Our growing real estate organization is seeking a Leasing Administrator to support the setup, maintenance, and administration of lease information across an expanding portfolio of properties. The Leasing Administrator will be responsible for reviewing lease documentation, validating lease data, and ensuring accurate entry of information into company systems. This Leasing Administrator role is ideal for an individual who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

The Leasing Administrator will play a critical role in supporting property operations by ensuring lease records are accurate, complete, and readily accessible. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review lease agreements and lease abstracts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Compare lease documents to summarized lease information and identify discrepancies.
  • Enter lease data into Excel-based templates and company systems.
  • Prepare lease information for system uploads and data integration processes.
  • Maintain and update lease records, amendments, options, renewals, and critical dates.
  • Ensure all lease information is entered accurately and consistently.
  • Support onboarding of newly acquired properties and portfolios by establishing lease records.
  • Track progress on assigned lease projects and meet established deadlines.
  • Communicate questions or discrepancies to management for review and resolution.
  • Assist with special projects related to lease administration and property operations.
  • Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in lease administration, commercial real estate, property management, property accounting, or a related administrative role preferred.
  • Strong data entry and document review experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Comfortable working with repetitive and detail-oriented tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience reviewing commercial lease agreements.
  • Familiarity with lease abstracts and lease administration processes.
  • Experience with Yardi or other property management software.
  • Experience supporting real estate, accounting, or property operations teams.
