Key Responsibilities of a Nursing Recruiter:

  • Source, screen, and recruit healthcare professionals for a variety of clinical positions.
  • Conduct phone interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and career goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both active and passive healthcare candidates.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and ensure a positive, responsive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Support onboarding activities, including collecting required documentation and assisting with compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).

What We’re Looking for in a Nursing Recruiter:

  • Previous healthcare recruiting experience OR a nursing background with a desire to transition into recruiting and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence and enthusiasm for engaging with candidates by phone throughout the day.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using applicant tracking systems is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
