About the Company and Opportunity:

  • Our client is a non-profit founded about 50 years ago in DC whose focus is to inspire and build up their community.
  • Due to a leave, they are hiring a Office Administrator that is 100% onsite. Free parking.
  • Duration: approx. 3 months
  • Schedule is Mon-Fri regular business hours of 9a-5p.
  • Pay: $23-25/hr based on experience.

Overview of the Office Administrator role:

  • Administrative Support – on/off boarding, business card/name badge ordering, COI requests, insurance coordination
  • Conference Center and Building Support – reservations/scheduling, set-up, assist with AV needs, maintenance requests
  • Vendor & Account Coordination – oversee assigned vendor and service accounts
  • Team & Operational Support – assist Building Coordinator, customer service
  • Ad hoc projects

Preferred Qualifications for the Office Administrator:

  • 3-5 years of administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
