We are seeking an Accounts Payable Temporary Consultant to provide interim support while an internal team member transitions into the role. This is a great opportunity for an AP professional who enjoys project‑based work and flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Enter vendor invoices and statements into the accounting system
- Ensure invoices and expense reports have proper approvals
- Track invoices and maintain accurate AP records
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Support the Controller with day‑to‑day AP functions
Qualifications
- All levels encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills; comfortable being on the phone
- Experience working in an ERP or accounting system
- Basic Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Experience
- Construction or job costing experience
- Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum, Sage, or Timberline
