About the Opportunity:
- Company was founded in 2014 and continuing to grow
- Portfolio includes a mix of commercial and residential properties
- This role reports directly to the CFO and has process control for month-, quarter-, and year-end close
Key Responsibilities for the Par-Time Controller:
- Own month-end close for 20 properties
- Oversee portfolio closes for 4 property accountants
- Coaching these individuals
- Budget to actuals, variance analysis
- Calculate quarter-end investor distribution
Qualifications for the Part-Time Controller:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or experience equivalent (+4 years)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in property accounting with 2+ years in a management role
- Experience with Yardi software
- Availability to work 24 hours per week within M-F timeframe
Hourly Rate, depending on experience:
$85 – 100 per hour
